Celebrations

A few weeks ago we received our LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from China!  This document is a huge step forward in the adoption and China's official YES!  It only spent a couple hours in our hands and then it was off to US immigration.  Please pray that we will receive immigration approval soon.  This process typically takes about 10-14 days and we are on day 20.  We are prayerful to receive news this week.  There is a Chinese holiday coming up and we are hopeful to have most of the remaining steps of the adoption complete before the holiday week.  We are praying that we will still be able to travel to China by the end of October.

We received our first update with our prayer and financial supporters.  Thank you so much to everyone that has donated and is praying!  We are so thankful to YOU for partnering with our family.  It is not too late to get involved!  We are currently about 40% to our support goal.  Praise God!

Our girl had a birthday in August!!  Although we ached to celebrate with her, we are so thankful that her birth parents chose life and that she is in the wonderful care of the First Hugs organization at her orphanage. We thank God that she will be receiving the gift of a forever family this year!

In honor of her birthday, we have chosen to announce her name. She has been known and loved by her advocacy name, Audrey. We did not keep our other children's advocacy names, so sticking with our tradition, we are naming her with a name chosen by our family. It is with great excitement to share that our daughter will be named Ella Wanying. 💕
