Maelee Update

Sorry for the lack of updates!  We have been busy in the Marquette household!  Many people ask.."How is Maelee doing?"  In short, she is doing very well!  She has become very cooperative with medical professionals as we attend many appointments and therapy sessions.  She is starting to eat more (yay!) and wait for it...she is drinking more than one sip per day!  Of course, everything is a work in progress.  Maelee has discovered that she likes Capri-Sun.  Not a healthy choice, but drinking none the less.  She has also drank some thinner yogurt and a few sips of milk!  Maelee is so strong and smart!  She is working hard in physical therapy to learn transfers and using a wheelchair independently.  She is building her core strength and the progress she has made in this short time is amazing!  In the next week she will begin feeding therapy and occupational therapy.  She is a busy, hard working girl!  Her dimples and sweetness light up a room!  Maelee is so loved!
